This picture Shiva was taken in 2019 when I was visiting India.   

LORD SHIVA is known as the DESTROYER.   

Shiva’s role is to destroy in order to re-create.   The belief is that Shiva’s powers of destruction and recreation are used to destroy the illusions and imperfections of this world and pave the way for beneficial change.   According to Hindu belief, this destruction is not arbitrary, but constructive and necessary.   

I am certainly feeling the destruction, removal, and eradication of much that once felt stable, consistent and predictable.   I find myself frustrated that thing are changing and evolving so quickly and without my approval.   Anyone relate? 

As often as possible I remind myself that all is in perfect order, perfect timing and there is a perfect plan.   Gods got this!   

Regardless, I find my humanness being tested more and more.   I also equate that to my faith strengthening and my light brightening.   

I am finding myself on my knees in prayer and asking for guidance and comfort quite often.   My encouragement for all who are feeling something similar is to PRAY.   

Pray for light.  Pray for truth.  And PRAY for love to prevail.   Sat Nam.

Some simple prayers that are always accessible:  “Thank You”  “Show Me”  “Use Me”  “Please”.   

Some simple ways to listen for the divine:  Meditate, Sit, Journal, Get OFF Your Phone, Pause, Walk in Nature, etc.  The most important time to relax and breath is when it feels like there isn’t time.   Pray now.  Pray often.  Pray with gratitude and appreciation. 

PRAY for benevolent support.  Be specific.  Ask directly.  Expect an Answer.  

You are not alone.  You will not be left alone.  Keep redirecting your focus to the guides who love you.  Come together.  Be Kind.  Pray.
