Being human is NO flip'n joke!
Aug 05, 2024Life seems to be demanding a ton from us right now.
As I talk to people this week, I am in awe of how much one person can withstand. It seems most are feeling overwhelmed and defeated, and a sense of normalcy feels far away.
Remember no matter what the challenge, you are perfectly equipped to handle it.
Anxious thinking complicates our brain’s ability to help ourselves.
Too many thoughts = Too few solutions.
When we are over-stimulated and therefore over-processing, our minds become easily flooded by the massiveness of our life circumstances. It’s imperative that we allow our psyche, our minds, and our literal brain to rest.
We need a minimum of 10 minutes of relax brain-time for every active hour. In today’s times. We need more!
Some ways to make time for small brain breaks:
Color (find forms)
Lay down and listen to a sound bath (recommend)
Garden
Do a jigsaw puzzle
Nap
Exercise
Meditate
TURN OFF THE NEWS
STOP ADDING MORE WORK FOR YOUR POOR BRAIN!
The goal is to find an activity that you lose yourself in.
With less to process we see our path more clearly.
