A Lunar Eclipse ON a Full Moon! What the What?!?! …is the Spiritual Significance?

According to astrologists Full Moons are an invitation to release all that no longer serves you or to let go of an aspect of yourself that you’ve outgrown.

Eclipses are change agents.   They welcome us to purge stuck, stale emotions and attachments.

The Full Moon COMBINED with this Lunar Eclipse is an Epic Opportunity to leave what is safe and predictable in order to GROW and EMBRACE yourself more fully.  

Eclipses can be radical in bringing abrupt change.  Often, endings are required to birth something new.  The Lunar Eclipse can bring the final closure. However, worth noting that eclipses act like a kind hand from heaven placing you exactly where you need to be. 

If something needs to be eradicated from your life then it’s helpful to know that the universe is in favor of aiding you right now.  Let go and Let God.  

Full Moons call for greater connection with the Divine simply by becoming accepting and mindful of the cycles of change.  

How can you take advantage of this important time?   

1)  Do a small personal ritual like lighting a candle and offering a prayer

2)  Writing an intention on paper, or something you’d like to let go of and burn it 

3)  Take time to stand on the earth with your bare feet connected to the ground and look up in to the sky.  Listen. 

4)  Identify something you no longer need or no longer serves you.  Saying NO opens the door to a more sincere Yes.  

5)  Find time for stillness

The energy of this Lunar Eclipse will last for the next 6 months and opens gateways of energy toward all that is active, positive and productive.  It is said to be particularly strong 2-3 days before and after the eclipse.  So stay very aware in the short term and continue to utilize the energy to support your commitments in the upcoming months.

Maybe Astrology doesn’t seem like a reasonable guide to you.  

Personally, I have learned that there is a nugget of learning and guidance in just about everything.  I’ve learned to interpret my dreams in accordance to my inner guide and to use personality tests to honor truths buried deep inside of me.

I don’t blindly accept everything nor do I deny that truth lives in many forms and angels appear in the most unlikely places. 

I cherish moments when I feel this beautiful universe in alignment with growth and inspired change.   As the planets align so do our souls.
